$52.90++/pax ala carte dinner buffet. OK...because I never believe there is great quality food to be found at a buffet restaurant (no matter how expensive) this is a miss for me. Slightly above average for such offering in Singapore, but the menu choice is kind of boring. Nothing that sets them apart from being unique. I didn't like the toilet either.

Great food and very friendly servers present. Although it seemed like they were lacking in manpower, they more than made up for it with good food and friendly servers.

First visit here today for lunch buffet with my wife and kid. Staff were very friendly and efficient, even gave us a small pack of wet wipes in case my kid made a mess. Children below 5 dine free. Great value and the food is much tastier and fresher than even some ala carte Japanese places in SG. Come here for lunch, no regrets!

Great cuts of sashimi but a little lack of variety. Place is quite small please be prepare to wait during meal hours. Parking can be an issue there.

Love coming here. The boss is really friendly and bought for me a complimentary birthday cake. The food there is amazing and the service is fast and efficient. Always checking on his customers and making sure that everything is well. Regulars like my family get lots of love. The restaurant serves Omakase and buffet style. Love every thing that comes out of the kitchen.

A la carte buffet @ mid level prices. Small portions? No problem! Just order up some more!!. Fresh fish with chef complementary dishes free of charge. What's not to like? Parking along Greenwood ave can be limited on Fridays weekends.

Okay food that is similar in standards to Sakura Japanese Restaurant but with better plating. Food quality has decreased over the 8 years they’ve opened. Service is quick as it seems overstaffed but waitresses seem not to be as competent due to language barriers. Some staff speak some foreign language that we aren’t able to decipher. Ambience is so-so with minimum decoration and ordinary lighting. Prices are reflective of the Bukit Timah area, but as for value for money, you might want to bring your colleagues somewhere else.

Great quality sushi food at a good buffet price. Hit and miss with some fried dishes *see photos* but the sashimi is decent for the price and quality you get. Drinks are in addition to the buffet offer (green tea is 1 pax ++).They were nice enough to offer complimentary green tea ice cream (as they sold out of yuzu today)

We celebrated our friends birthday here and we wouldnt have chosen any other place. Service was top notch and special thanks to Gary for helping to arrange a nice room for the celebration. Every dish was done perfectly and service was really fast too. We were all too stuffed after the meal!! Will definitely be visiting very soon again. Amazing food and very friendly staff!

Food is ridiculously flavourful, ambience is calming and serene, my personal favourite japanese restaurant. The wafu steak will get you addicted to the place. Definitely a must try, reserve early to avoid disappointment as seats are limited!

Came here to celebrate my birthday during lunchtime. The buffet has good spread and ingredients are really fresh! Like the sashimi, we tried salmon, tuna, swordfish, yellowtail and octopus. Other items like spicy tuna handroll, softshell crab handroll and hotate mentaiyaki (scallop) are also their best sellers for a good reason. All very yummy! Then the beef short rib is heavenly tender and juicy and likewise for the wafu beef. The egg chawanmushi is also very tasty and soft, must try!Best of all, the location is at a private estate so parking is free. The price at $39.99++ is quite reasonable given the good quality food. The environment is conducive like other Japanese family restaurants. Will definitely be back again for other special occasions. Highly recommended!

There’s zero sincerity or integrity with their reservations confirmation. Texted in to check on availability, got offered 2 time slots. Confirmed the timing I wanted and they replied hours later to say its fully booked.

Strange service. But great food. Consider having sweet potato in your Yasai tempura. Dinner Buffet costs 52 per head.

In support of SMEs in these tough times, I visited Shin Yuu. A unique buffet for $55++. Highly recommended. We were one of two customers this evening. 😪

Food tasted not bad. Service was okay although some of the staff couldnt speak english. However, I feel it is a little overprice as there was not much variety in the buffet menu. Buffet dinner costs $52++ per pax

Celebrated my brother's birthday here. Good service and quality of food is very good for the price. We loved the short rib, karaage, sashimi and sushi.

The price of dinner buffet is not as valuable for money. There are many other places that I can find with better quality of food. Aside from the scallops, the rest of the food isn't as good. I wouldn't want to head back if there is another round.

Simply delicious and fresh food. Great selection of sake too. The abalones was a wonderful surprise.

It is unlimited fresh Japanese sashimi and other items for about $50 (gst plus). For the moriawase alone, it is worth it. You can call unlimited items and they bring to the table. Other items include grilled meat and veg, tempura, soba, sushi and handrolls, steamed egg and other usual favourites like the wagyu. They are single portions but you can order unlimited times and they bring the food to you fast. The food standard is high, you can tell from the sashimi cut and presentation that it is professional. This is infiinitely better than rotating belt sushi chainsor normal sushi buffet from hotel. The staff have kind intentions but maybe some do not speak English too clearly. However they are fast. It is a good place for a relaxing night out, especially in Greenwood area with all the other restaurants.

A little place in the middle of private housing estate. Along the stretch of the famous Lana cake. This place offer buffet lunch or dinner. Eat all you want Japanese. Price for lunch about $40+ and dinner $60+ per person. Value for money, if you have a big appetite. Fresh good sashimi, piping hot tempura, made to order sushi/maki. Portion order is per person so if you are ordering for the table best let the waitress know how many people you want it for. It also has private rooms for groups.

Not really worth the price. For the price of dinner buffet, would be better off at those hotel ones.

This is a gem in the middle of residential area, although location is not as convenient. The food are prepared freshly and cooked upon order. Really valuable buffet with lots of options. The service is really good and friendly too. I like how attentive they are and kept clearing your plates and refill your tea. If there’s opportunity, I’ll definitely go back again.

Great buffet place for a decent price to get your sashimi fix. The portions served are half sized but hey it's a buffet. Just order more. Don't miss out on the torched salmon belly sushi and the fresh cut sashimi! I always overeat when I come to this place.

Had a birthday celebration here - and we love the hospitality from the chef and his team. The food here is good for a Japanese buffet standard - especially their sashimi and yakitori items. Fresh thick cuts of swordfish, hamachi/yellow tail, salmon, maguro, tako. Whilst variety of items may seem limited, the quality of each item is assured and yummy. We loved most of the items that was served. Their beef stirfry items are also really yummy! Do come and try. because we regularly dine there, we got some off the menu items, courtesy of the friendly head chef!

Love this place! We are coming here already 8 years and never left disappointed. Food is always fresh, delicious and satisfying. Personal friendly and smiling, service always exceptional. Give a try to their sashimi and don’t forget to ask for sake recommendations- the range is wide, some unique varieties in and priced reasonably. True gem!
